Moonlight Hero Original Acrylic Painting On Paper
£4,000.00
The mask acts to protect his true identity, thereby allowing him to operate freely in his adopted guise.
Although the half-face mask and hood leave his mouth and chin exposed and, perhaps, open to his everyday identity being exposed, it also helps to promote his humanity.
Clad partially in black, as per a disciple of the night, the red waistcoat and apparently glossy flapping yellow cape would make an impact in the world he inhabits as it does in this image.
He is set against a city landscape lit by a large full moon that frames his pose and enhances the features of his costume which are striking in their own way.
During this period the popularity of the superhero and supervillain archetypes grew during global unrest. At the onset of World War 2 characters such as Superman, Batman, Robin, Shazam, Captain America, and Wonder Woman evolved to become the epitome of the fight against evil.

Giclee Artist Prints
Spelt correctly, Giclée is a French word for spray (little sprey!). This is a digital printing process in which a dedicated type of ink-jet printer is used with specialist inks to produce a high quality Art print. As an artist, I feel a Giclée print produces a better finish than other types of modern artist printing formats.
Linocut Artist Prints
A Linocut is a relief print that is produced like a woodcut but uses lino as the surface from which the design is carved as a template used for the printing. In making a Linocut, basically your design uses the raised (uncarved) areas for the different inks to print the same picture over and over.
Silkscreen Print Collection
Creating screen prints – The inks are forced through a mesh screen onto the printed surface. This enables certain areas of the screen template to be made impervious to the printing ink, in effect creating a stencil. The ink that is able to pass through forms the printed image.
