Doug Kemp was born in Bath because of wartime evacuation 1939 and was raised in the east end of London. Doug’s unique style of fine art draws reference from personal experience, the USA (particularly Chicago) comic book art, pop art, post industrialist (modern art), film noir, art-deco and gangster movies made in the 1930s & 1940s.
