Doug kemp was born in Bath in 1939 because of wartime evacuation and raised in the east end of London. He has a unique style of fine art that draws reference from personal experience, the USA (particularly Chicago) DC & Marvel comic book art, pop art, post industrialist (modern art), film noir, art-deco and gangster movies made in the 1930s & 1940s.
