ASK Restaurant Heroes & Villains Pop Artist Commission

ASK, also known now as ASK Italian is a British restaurant chain which serves Italian cuisine.

The ASK chain of restaurants was founded by the brothers Adam and Samuel Kaye in 1993 and were also the ones to commission Doug Kemp for this series of Heroes and Villians canvas paintings for use as decoration and talking points in a couple of their flagship restaurants.

The name for the restaurant ‘ASK’ can be construed either as the founders’ initials ‘Adam/Samuel Kaye’ or as an acronym for “Authentic Sicilian Kitchen”.
