The first volume of The Book of Doug explores the paintings, stories and observations behind Doug Kemp’s work. Featuring artwork spanning several decades, the book combines visual commentary with interviews and insights into Doug’s creative process.
The Book of Doug Volume 2
Volume 2 continues through Doug Kemp’s archive with additional paintings, stories and reflections from a lifetime spent creating art. Together, the first two books provide one of the most comprehensive published collections of Doug’s work currently available.
The Colouring Book of Doug: Volume 1 – Love Gone Wrong
Based on original paintings from Doug Kemp’s relationships and divorce-themed collection, The Colouring Book of Doug transforms selected artworks into black-and-white colouring pages. Each image is accompanied by background information, artwork references and QR codes linking back to the original paintings.

More Colouring Books Are Planned For 2026
The first colouring book is only the beginning. Several additional volumes are currently in development, each based on a different Doug Kemp collection.

Each book will feature artwork drawn from a specific Doug Kemp series and adapted into a colouring format while retaining the character, humour and visual style of the original paintings.
