Jumping Trough Hoops
The centre of the hoops, alone, appear highlighted and almost as if solid, yet this is not reflected in the characters jumping through them.
The clothing on each character is near realistic with no attempt to challenge the plane of perspective, nor their passage through the hoops themselves.

The concussed birds think they can see a way to fly away, but are repeatedly dashed on a window pane, in a scene observed in nature and on the human level in a metaphorical sense.
