Doug Kemp 1990s pop art paintings on canvas, this was the post-divorce decade. Because of his divorce and moving (home and studio), space was limited in this period of Doug life and the 1990s decade saw a greater number of works on paper produced since these paintings on paper are easier to roll and store.
Bloody fingers. It was about this time Doug also started producing Linocut prints, where separate sheets of linoleum are carved out (One for each separate colour on the print design). In hindsight, Silkscreen artist prints were much easier to manipulate and produce and have the benefits of being able to print on multiple print surfaces such as metal.
